Maley Cidre du Saint Bernard

Maley is based in the heart of the Aosta Valley in the small town of Brissogne in the cellars of the Neyran dairy. The company's mission is the production of cider and cider-based liqueurs that represent the centuries-old tradition of this part of the alpine landscape, respecting its biodiversity. Maley is the ancient name given to Mont Blanc, both on the Valle d'Aosta and Savoyard side, but at the same time it's the name given in ancient times to the apple in Valtourmenche. The apples used in the production are of the Raventze variety, and Coison de Boussy, Reinè de Reinetta and Groin de veau. The processing takes place on both the Italian and French Alpine sides, in a continuous synthesis between ancient recipes and technological innovation that enhance the centuries-old heritage of the Mont Blanc and Matterhorn apple trees, faithfully keeping them in the bottle.

The Cidre du Saint Bernard produced by Maley is obtained from orchards over 100 years old at over 1000 meters above sea level on Mont Blanc and its valleys. The apples used are of the Raventze quality, and Coison de Boussy, Reinè de Reinetta and Groin de veau typical of Haute-Savoie. A classy light and effervescent cider, ideal as a refreshing aperitif.
