Blue Ribbon, 100% London Dry Gin, has a subtle and delicate bouquet of thyme, juniper and Jamaican pepper. These aromas are strengthened by the quality of gin, a 5 times distilled grain brandy, which perfectly expresses the 14 natural botanical components it contains.
Specification
It is produced with a unique recipe and artisanal methods in a micro-distillery located in France, where the bain-marie distillation processes of natural ingredients provide the blend with exceptional softness. The slow distillation in a water bath takes place separately for each natural ingredient. The components are: demineralized water, 96% alcohol (192 proof), spice distillate (coriander, allspice, iris root, ginger, cinnamon, cubeb berries, cardamom, angelica, cassia), juniper berry distillate, distillate of thyme, distillate of orange peel, lemon peel, lime peel. It has taste and aromas of various shades, and persists on the palate for several minutes. With Blue Ribbon also the classic Gin & Tonic, Gin Fizz and Dry Martini take on a new dimension. In 2008 and 2009 he received a 92/100 score from the Beverage Testing Institute of Chicago (gold medal - exceptional). Gold medal also at the "Drinks International - the Gin Challenge" in London.
On the nose, splendid aromas of anise and citrus, oily and complex. Spicy, ginger, quince and candied peel. Complex, intense and persistent with aromas of exotic fruit and herbs. It has a soft and round beginning, leaving a dry and clean mouth with aniseed biscuits and aromatic herbs. A long and persistent finish with clear notes of juniper, candied lemon, minerals and pepper. Very soft and pleasant. Good balance of aromas and a long and persistent finish.
