The history of the Brandy Villa Zarri is linked to the Bolognese homonym family  and in particular to Leonida Zarri who in 1954 purchases a brandy and liqueur manufacturing company, called la Pilla, which will then be transferred from Venice to  Bologna at Castel Maggiore two years later in 1956. But it was to the young Guido Fini Zarri that the turning point was owed, when following in the wake of his grandfather and father, he ventured into the production of a brandy of superior quality starting from the 1986 vintage, using the Charentais Alembic to distill of the Tuscan Trebbiano, later replaced by the Romagna wine. Thus was born Villa Zarri in 1989, with the presentation of the first Brandy Villa Zarri in 1990, a completely natural distillate produced with the discontinuous method, scrupulously following the disciplinary inspired by Cognac. The processing is slow and accurate, starting from the distillation phase in the autumn once the alcoholic fermentation of the wine has been carried out, to then transfer the pure and colorless distillate into 350 liter oak barrels for an aging of at least 10 years. The end result is a brandy of great quality and with an inimitable style.

Brandy Millesimato 2002 is obtained from the distillation of Romagna Trebbiano wine, subsequently aged 11 years in a 350-liter French oak barrel, to then refine another year in a 300-liter barrel of Marsala Bertoli Riserva 1987, which in turn is aged 25 years. This careful and complex aging process gives this Brandy Villa Zarri an impressive aromatic variety that envelops the palate and conquers it.
