Hunter Laing is a family business whose origin dates back to 1949, the year in which Frederick Laing started his business in the whisky world in Glasgow. But it's with Stewart Laing, who took over from his father in the 70s, that the company develops and grows in the following decades in parallel with the widespread use of single malt scotch whiskeys. Hunter Laing, based in Glasgow, was founded in 2013 which brings together all the family brands and starts a process of acquiring land, warehouses, and distilleries where to produce, and not only bottle, their whiskys. The Kill Devil series was created to offer its customers the best stocks of Rum produced in the Caribbean and bottled in Scotland, keeping their most genuine and exotic characteristics unchanged.

Kill Devil is the ancient name that was given to Rum produced locally in the Caribbean, and although superstitions seem to belong to the past today, today the best Rum are still produced in the Caribbean islands. This label was distilled in Trinidad in the Caroni distillery in 1998 and bottled by single cask in 246 units from Hunter Laing in Scotland. On the palate the taste is soft and slightly sweet, with hints of spices, caramel and marzipan. A rum of exceptional quality in which we faithfully find the exotic flavors of the Caribbean.
