Grappa Riserva Alto Rilievo

In 1860 Paolo Segnana in Borgo Valsugana in the province of Trento invented a mobile distillery, one of the rare cases in history, and began to walk from farm to farm with its horse-drawn stills to work the freshly pressed pomace within 24 hours of pressing the 'grapes. Thus began the history of the Segnana Grappa, taken over in 1982 by the Lunelli family, already a producer of the famous Ferrari sparkling wines, optimizing their production as the Lunellis were among the largest suppliers of marc. From the brief course of the grapes from the pressing to the stills, a large part of the aromas of the pomace is preserved, obtaining a grappa of superior quality, faithful to the Trentino traditions.

The Grappa Riserva Alto Relief is produced from the pomace of different grapes which give it a good structure, to then be aged in barrels used for the production of whiskeys from the island of Slay in Scotland. Hence the smoky and peaty notes that characterize it strongly, while maintaining a certain softness. A grappa with a distinct personality.
