Tre Filer is a wine from Ca 'dei Frati sweet overripe grapes in perfect balance between sweetness, flavor and acidity. Aromas of dried fruit and honey stand out on the nose. In the mouth it's fragrant, with the acidity of the Turbiana grape to make it unique, despite the sweet aftertaste that characterizes it. Ideal with blue cheeses and dry pastries.
Ca 'dei Frati is a winery known since 1782 in Lugana, a town in the municipality of Sirmione on Lake Garda in the province of Brescia, called "the place of the Friars". This story is joined by that of Felice del Cero and his family of winemakers, who moved there in 1939. His son Pietro in 1969 bottles the first Lugana DOC Casa dei Frati, later called Cà dei Frati. Now we are in the fourth generation, custodian of a knowledge that is faithful to the land, that separately processes the hubs of each vineyard to best express the "terroir".
Tre Filer is a sweet wine obtained from the Turbiana, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc varieties, vinified in steel and initially aged in steel for 12/14 months on fine lees, and then further refined for another 12 months in the bottle. It's a wine that surprises and embodies the sunshine of autumn.
