Mabaruma Rum 16 yo

With this very limited production bottle, true rum lovers are offered a rare chance to taste an exceptional distillate. The raw material comes from one of the best sugar cane plantations in the world, and the distillation of the juice takes place in traditional stills with the discontinuous method with direct fire and double distillation. The aging, which can go from a minimum of 8 years up to vintage of 25 years and more, will take place in small oak barrels placed in cool underground cellars. To keep all the characteristics intact, these rums are free from caramel and do not undergo filtration. Their unique style, very different from the current standards on the market, will fascinate those looking for the pure Jamaican style of complex aromas, sometimes spicy and smoky, with sweet notes of honey and nuts, and a remarkable strength, such as to make them excellent companions of a well-made cigar.

Mabaruma is a Jamaican Rum from the Finest Jamaica Rum selection, it has aged for 16 years in the Long Pond distillery and only 280 bottles have been produced.
