Amaro Washington

Vecchio Magazzino Doganale is a Calabrian rural agricultural company founded on the valorization of the land and its botanicals. The Trombino family cultivates and selects citrus fruits and medicinal herbs in full respect of natural cycles, creating artisanal liqueurs and bitters that express Calabria's identity through authentic ingredients and traditional processes.

Washington Amaro di Arance ed Erbe Amaricanti is born from the combination of prized Washington oranges, Calabrian citrus fruits, and a selection of botanicals from the Trombino family estate. The result is an elegant and bold amaro, characterized by a pleasant bitterness that enhances the citrus freshness. Excellent enjoyed neat, chilled, or as an ingredient in cocktails and classic aperitifs.

Natural amber color. Intense aromas of orange, Mediterranean citrus fruits, and medicinal herbs emerge on the nose. The palate is smooth on entry, followed by a pronounced bitterness, well-balanced by the citrus component, with a long and persistent finish. Excellent as a dessert, it pairs well with dark chocolate, citrus desserts, dry pastries, tarts, dried fruit, and can also be a pleasant accompaniment to a cigar. It's also ideal for mixing in aperitifs and bitter cocktails.

Serve at room temperature or chilled at 5°-10°C (do not freeze)
