The distinctive trademark of Fiasconaro’s bakery is the sourdough, a very long process of fermentation that lasts 36 hours. The sourdough originates from the “madre”, a fermented batter-like dough to which are added, progressively, water and flour. It’s a process that, as always, is renewed remaining the same and with the same rhythm, and that, to happen, requires abilities, care and above all the rejection of the use of chemical additives and preservatives, ensuring, at the same time, the product, a surprisingly long life. The dough through this absolutely natural process provides unique and not be matched qualitative characteristics as lightness and fragrance. Ingredients: Panettone: Soft wheat flour, butter, sugar, fresh eggs, chocolate drops (10%) (sugar, cocoa paste, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soy lecithin, vanilla extract), fresh eggs yolk, natural yeast (contains wheat flour), hazelnut paste (2%), Sicilian honey, inverted sugar, orange purée (ground orange peel, sugar, lemon juice concentrate), emulsifier: mono-and diglycerides of fatty acids, cocoa butter, powdered skimmed milk, salt, coffee flavourings, natural flavourings: vanilla berries. May contain traces of other nuts. Cream: Sugar, vegetable oils and fats (sunflower oil, cocoa butter, safflower), powdered skimmed milk, whey powder, coffee bean (4,1%), hazelnuts (Corylus avellana), instant coffee (2,1%), whey protein, emulsifier: soy lecithin, natural flavourings.
