Freisa d'Asti

The `` Tenuta Olim Bauda '' winery was born in Piedmont in 1998, a wonderful reality that is run by the brothers Dino, Diana and Gianni Bertolino, who thanks to their immense passion and dedication, have brought their company to the highest levels of Asti oenology. A winery that boasts a centuries-old tradition in the production and marketing of wine, in fact it all began with the great-grandfather of the three brothers, Giacinto. The historic heart of the Olim Bauda estates is the parcel around the manor house, on the hills of Nizza Monferrato, planted by his father in 1961, with barbera and moscato. From this vineyard the estate has expanded until today, reaching 30 hectares of vineyards, all followed with sustainable agriculture practices.

After the selection of the grapes by hand, between the end of September and the beginning of October, the grapes are pressed the same evening as they are harvested and placed in vats for vinification. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is placed in French oak barrels for aging for about 18 months, subsequently completing its maturation in the bottle for about 12 months.
