La Grande Année is a Champagne Brut Rosé that expresses all the elegance of the terroir from which it comes. It has a coral color, a very fine perlage that confirms its class, with aromas of black currant, figs, mint, tobacco and floral notes. On the palate it conquers at the first sip, fresh andfull-bodied  with an intense and aromatic finish of plums and marasca cherries. A great Champagne for fine palates.

With sulphites.

Bollinger is synonymous with excellence in the world of Champagne, for its long history full of great labels that still conquer the palate of sparkling wine lovers all over the world. It was founded in Ay in 1829, near Epernay on the slopes of the Reims Mountains by Hennequin de Villermont, Paul Renaudin and Jacques Bollinger. After 5 generations leaded by the Bollinger dynasty, in 2008 the property passed into the hands of Jérôme Philipon, who invested new resources on the glorious brand respecting its tradition. Unlike the vast majority of champagne housess, Bollinger directly uses grapes grown in his own vineyards, among which the Pinot Noir variety is the most cultivated of the three, together with Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. 85% of the vineyards are certified as Grand Cru, while the tunnels of the underground cellars of Bollinger wind their way for kilometers in the living stone, producing and storing champagne according to the dictates of tradition that bring the Maison to the top of world production.

The grapes used to produce Rosé Brut La Grande Année are Pinot Noir with a small dose of Chardonnay, from 14 Grand Cru. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels with refermentation in the bottle according to the champenoise method. At the time of assembly, 6% of Pinot Noir vinified in red is added to the vintage base wines, while aging on the lees is at least 60 months. At the end of a manic manufacturing process in every phase, the result is a Champagne of supreme elegance, with a surprising aromatic personality worthy expression of the Maison that produces it.
