Trebbiano Castello di Semivicoli

The Masciarelli winery is a creation of Gianni Masciarelli when in 1981 he founded his business by initiating a process of valorisation and affirmation of the then little structured Abruzzo wine production. Today it's a reference in the Italian wine world from its headquarters in San Martino sulla Marrucina in the province of Chieti, counting vineyards owned in all the provinces of Abruzzo. The wine production has 18 labels divided into 5 main lines: Classic Line, Gianni Masciarelli, Villa Gemma, Marina Cvetic and Castello di Semivicoli. The latter, a baronial palace of the 17th century, has undergone a conservative restoration that has made it a relais de charme among the vineyards as far as the eye can see in a wonderful territory, where tradition, innovation and sustainability are pursued with commitment and self-denial.

Masciarelli's Trebbiano D'Abruzzo is vinified in purity from Trebbiano grapes grown in the hilly vineyards between S. Martino on Marrucina, Loreto Aputino and Ripa Teatina on limestone and clay soils. After vinification, it matures and refines in stainless steel tanks, ready to be consumed young, in all its freshness.
