After more than 20 years from its birth, the Baglio di Pianetto winery is a consolidated reality of Sicilian enology thanks to the passionate entrepreneurial activity of Count Paolo Marzotto and his family. The basic philosophy is the continuous research between tradition and innovation, with meticulous care for the raw material of excellence and respect for nature and the surrounding environment, aware that good wine is born in the vineyard rather than in the cellar. And it is thus that in the countryside of Palermo and in the Val di Noto, in two completely different and in some ways complementary terroirs, about 160 hectares of vines converted to organic are cultivated, which first conquered the Sicilian drinkers and then the rest of the world. The production of Baglio di Pianetto is directed for 50% abroad between the United States, Japan, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Russia, France, Norway, Czech Republic, Canada and is being consolidated in many other countries, thanks to most genuine and authentic expression of the land of Sicily.
