The Cragganmore Distillery was founded in 1869 by John Smith on the banks of the River Spey which gives its name to the Scottish region of Speyside. The personality of its founder, then called "the genius of whysky", together with the pure water of the nearby Craggan spring, hence the name of the distillery, the excellent quality barley and the richness of peat have made it one of the most renowned scottish labels, since 1988 part of the "Classic Malts of Scotland", that is the 6 most representative bottlings of the areas of origin. Cragganmore whiskys are certainly among the most complex in Speyside.

The Cragganmore 20 years old 2020 Special Release is a single malt scotch whisky that opens on the nose with fruity aromas of pear, melon and banana. In the mouth, woody notes and sweet cream prevail, combined with hints of toasted multigrain bread and a long finish with a taste of licorice and hints of white pepper. An elegant whisky that develops a nightly aromatic complexity in the glass, and with the addition of a splash of water it acquires even more flavor.
