Vermouth Bianco Scarpa

The Antica Casa Vinicola Scarpa was founded by Antonio Scarpa in the late 1800s in Piedmont among the hills covered with vineyards of Nizza Monferrato. The company's philosophy has remained tied to the natural methods of growing the vine and traditions, particularly in the art of winemaking. In the early twentieth century, in what was then called Scarpa Oenological Establishments, the production of a drink at that time very popular began, Vermouth, of which Scarpa has kept the original secret recipe up to the present day. The name originates from the German word "wermut" or absinthe, although it refers more precisely to its figurative meaning of bitterness or bitterness due to the presence of aromatic herbs. One of the distinctive features of Turin Vermouth was the prevailing base of Moscato wine, elsewhere replaced by other Sardinian, Romagna or Puglia white wines. Scarpa rigorously produces Piedmontese Vermouth strictly respectful of historical traditions.

Vermouth Bianco Scarpa respects the original recipe which provides for the addition of alcohol and aromatic herbs to a base consisting of a blend of wines of which 30% Moscato d'Asti DOCG. Served with some ice cubes or mixed in a good cocktail it's a stylish and captivating drink.
