Xaymaca Special Dry is one of the rums in the Plantation by Ferrand collection assembled in honor of the island of Jamaica from which it takes its ancient name and which contains the essence of the island's production style. Mentioned by Forbes as the best rum in terms of quality/price ratio, Xaymaca is complex and powerful.
The Plantation collection was born from the passion for Rum and Cognac of the French entrepreneur Alexandre Gabriel, who in 1989 came across Maison Ferrand, a prestigious company of spirits and liqueurs. From this happy meeting the opportunity arises to intercept the best plantations and the best Caribbean rums, products for personal use or to raise the quality of other assemblies, creating an ad hoc line of vintage Rums with unique characteristics and expression of excellence in the art of this distillate. The Rum Plantation are aged in the Caribbean, exposed to the typical hot and humid climate, to then be brought to France where they are carefully refined to enhance elegance and personality. Today Alexandre Gabriel is the owner and president of Maison Ferrand and continues to experiment with Gin, Cognac and Rum with unique and inimitable flavors.
