Class Dolce

The history of the Colonnara cooperative brings us back to 1959, when a passionate group of 19 winemakers founded the winery in Cupramontana, on the Marche region hills where verdicchio reigns. The passion for the land and the obsessive care for the vineyard were the secret that led the winery today to count 110 members who cultivate 120 hectares of vineyards according to an eco-sustainable and nature-friendly approach.

Class Dolce is obtained from hand-picked muscat grapes in advance of the ripening time, sent to soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature. The refermentation takes place in large steel containers according to the Martinotti Method, or Charmat, followed by bottling. A wine that represents the sweet soul of Colonnara.
