The story of Gilpin's Gin starts from far away in 16th century England by George Gilpin. Today, Matthew Gilpin, a descendant of George, wanted to create a distillate in his small London distillery that, faithful to the tradition of London Dry gin, has a unique and distinguishable taste thanks to the introduction of two herbs like sage and borage, along with the others botanical juniper, lime, lemon, bitter orange, coriander seeds and angelica roots. Production takes place in small batches with 5 distillations of pure English grain alcohol. The desired, and we can say successful, result is a modern, versatile and distinctive classic, deservedly victorious in 2014 of the World's Best Gin award at the World Gin Awards.

The Gilpin's Navy Gin, is obtained as in the case of the Extra Dry, from 8 different botanicals and 5 distillations in potstill alembic, but it's bottled at a greater alcohol content of 54.5 °. It's strong and decisive, fragrant, distinguished by dry aromas that mix with juniper and citrus scents. The high gradation ensures that all the aromas are fully released, giving that decisive touch to mixing excellent drinks. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of this gin is donated to the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity.
