Per' 'e Palummo

The Casa D'Ambra winery was founded by Francesco D'Ambra, for many Don Ciccio, at the end of the 1800s. The company grew from the beginning on the Neapolitan market and then expanded elsewhere and consolidated itself in the national and international market. especially with the passage to the second generation of the family in 1950. The local Biancolella, Forastera and Per''e palummo vines are vinified in increasingly modern systems, and at the same time a process of development and acquisition of vines on the island is started, planting only the autochthonous variety, which culminates with the new plant in Panza D'Ischia. Today we are in the third generation guided by the oenologist Andrea D'Ambra, Francesco's nephew, continuing a journey that has lasted more than 100 years in the world of wine.

Ischia wine is a product coming from a volcanic soil, with a medium mixture rich in potassium and phosphorus, it was created through a red vinification technique with maceration of the whole berries for 5-10 days
